Indonesian Election 2009

President and Vice President Election of the Republic of Indonesia 2009 (normally abbreviated Pilpres 2009) was held to choose the President and Vice President of Indonesia 2009-2014 period. Vote is scheduled take place on 8 July 2009 simultaneously across the country. There are three candidates for the pairing candidates for president and vice president who became this election participants, the Megawati Soekarnoputri-Prabowo Subianto, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono-Boediono, and Muhammad Jusuf Kalla - Wiranto.

Indonesian Election 2009 Results

The candidates selected are the candidates who get the vote of more than 50% of the vote with at least 20% vote in each province in which more than 50% of the number of provinces in Indonesia. In case the candidates do not have a sound acquisition requirements, the couple's 2 that have most votes is selected first and second again in the general election (second round). In the case of acquisition with the most votes the same amount of 2 obtained by the candidates, both of the candidates is selected again by the people in the general election. In the case of acquisition with the most number of votes equal to 3 obtained by the candidates or more, the determination of first-and second-ranked based on the distribution of earnings to a wider vote is tiered. In the case of acquiring the second most votes with the same number obtained by more than 1 couple, determined based on the distribution of earnings to a wider vote is tiered.
